Dragon Fairest
Publisher Description
This Snow White's no damsel in distress. He's a dragon shifter on the run from the foster mother who wants him dead.
Jack has three unbreakable rules of survival:
One, never reveal his full dragon form.
Two, steer clear of magic users at all costs.
Three, always trust his instinct for trouble.
And there's no doubt a princess accused of cursing her own family is exactly the kind of trouble he should avoid.
Despite Jack's intention to keep Kynara at arm's length, though, her intriguing mix of vulnerability and stubborn determination draws him like no one else ever has.
A fugitive from her own people, exhausted and alone for the first time in her life, Kyn is running out of options. Asking for aid from a band of treasure hunters is a risk, but she has nothing left to lose.
To save her family and her kingdom, she'll take any help she can get.
Even from handsome, irritating Jack who despises her magic yet throws himself into danger to defend her.
With the evil Grey Enchantress tightening her grip on the kingdom of Ardell, Jack and Kyn may have to sacrifice everything to stop her.
If you're looking for a clean fantasy romance featuring dragon-shifters, fierce princesses, adventure, magic and happily-ever-after, don't miss the entire Dragon Ever After series of re-imagined fairy tales.

Great Concept, Okay Execution
A fairytale retelling with dragon-shifters, werewolves, and magic. I was hooked, but then I found it hard to stay hooked. In fact, I was even debating on leaving the book unfinished at one point, yet…there was still something that pulled me back. A hope that the story would be worth the pain of staying hooked.
Well…it was slightly worth it.
For one, the side characters, such as the pack, the Huntsman, and Kyn’s brothers were very interesting. Particularly Sterling, I found him to be a very good leader and I cannot wait to see him as a romantic character. I wish to delve deeper into their relationships and stories. I want to know more about them and see this interesting world through their eyes.
Speaking of, the world is also engaging. The magic is simple yet full. So I can understand it and it still feel like magic. The werewolves curse and use of it was awesome. I loved to see it. Now the dragons…well, when they were on, they felt fearsome, majestic, and powerful. Yet…it bothered me that our two main characters, who are born dragon-shifters, rarely (and in one case not at all) shift. It seems…underwhelming. There were was a somewhat understandable reason why but…it definitely felt underutilized.
Now for the main reason (reasons) I almost had to walk away, Kyn and Jack. I don’t know if I was not invested in their romance or I just didn’t like their characters’ personalities, but I really did NOT enjoy reading from their perspective. In fact, the epilogue was one of my favorite chapters because it was from Asher’s point of view. I found Kyn’s decision making to be…inappropriate at times (like: kissing someone after they revealed something deeply personal). While Jack seemed to flip a switch quickly (the whole debate with himself about magic and liking Kyn…like he debated for a few chapters but after one kiss, he’s suddenly okay with it all…). Though this may be a personal bias.
Still, I will be continuing on to Sterling’s book, but I may be hesitant to buy the next one in the series. We will see after Sterling’s book. Thank you for the read and your work!
:/
i rly dis love the book in the beginning it was fierce and beautiful.
but idk what happened kyn just caved and everything went rly mushy w her and jack.
-don’t get me wrong i love mushy it’s just the book had a strong lead and it like didn’t continue to the end.
i was looking forward to the second book and it being more ab kyn and jack n their relationship but they completely changed it to ash and his princess.....
but it’s a good book to read when you have time. :)
