The bad news: Alora is dead. The good news: She just landed her dream job. Or rather, she got a job making dreams for those still alive on Earth. But working in the Afterworld for Dreamweavers, LLC isn't all it's cracked up to be. Her boss, the Greco-Roman god of dreams, couldn't care less about anything. Her coworkers, a bunch of bedsheet-wearing ghosts, don't trust her. Worst of all, she just discovered that Chernobog, the god of misfortune and head of the Nightmare Department, is plotting a hostile takeover of the whole company.

Driven by a mysterious yet familiar mantra—If you're going to do something, do it right—Alora undertakes a desperate gambit to save her job, department, and maybe the entire Dreamscape. That means uncovering all she can about Chernobog's schemes and exposing the dastardly demon's plot to the highest power she knows, Dreamweavers' Chief Operations Officer, before it's too late.
