Duel

Duel is a concert piece that captures the audience thanks to the virtuous performance of the musicians and to its complex rhythm that includes syncopations, quick figures and changes of tempo. It is divided into three parts, the first is built on a progressive cadence that prepares the clash of the two percussionists, the central part there is a complex game of chopsticks on sticks that reproduces the characteristic eighteenth-century duel and the third part concludes with a small recovery a great ending.   Intermediate level grade 6
