Little gnome

Quartet for 3 snare drum and 1 bass drum (accessories: hi-hat, flexaton, woodblock) After a brief introduction based on sixteenths with accents that are repeated in the various parts, begins the funky part (almost like a drum solo) where he alternates moments of counterpoint to moments of omorithmic that give versatility and curiosity to the piece. The always-on rhythm and the variable timbre depict youth, energy and a pinch of mystery surrounding an ultra-centennial gnome.         Intermediate level grade 4  listen to RGPERCUSSIONMUSIC
