Publisher Description
The Core is harvesting memories.
Early enters a town assembled from moments stolen from abandoned lives. Every house contains a memory. Every window reveals something that happened to someone else. The residents know Early, but none agree on who he is.
Christopher discovers entire years missing from his life. The vanished memories appear inside the manuscript as streets, rooms, and voices. The more he tries to reclaim them, the more solid the fictional world becomes.
At the center of the town stands an unfinished body made from handwriting, reflected faces, and borrowed recollections. It has no name, but the ledger has already reserved a page for it.
Early must decide whether destroying the town will free its stolen memories or erase them forever. Christopher must choose how much of himself he is willing to surrender to keep the Core alive.
EARLY CORE 15.5 blends surreal horror, dark fantasy, supernatural mystery, and metafiction into a story about identity, memory, creation, and possession.
The manuscript has gathered enough memories.
Now it wants somewhere to live. (AND SOME)
