Publisher Description
In this last installment of the Tales of a New World series, love and goodness are put to the ultimate test as gods, humans, and animals come together to save everything they hold dear.
Mari, Nik, their newly formed Pack and the Wind Riders are in danger as the God of Death and his terrifying army march ever closer in Death's quest to rule the Wind Rider Plains - and to kill or enslave anyone who stands in their way.
The Pack and the Wind Riders must find a way to stop the God of Death before he poisons their world and all is lost.
There is one hope: Ralina, Death’s Storyteller. The woman Death has forced to travel at side, recording every atrocity he commits. But Ralina heeds the call of the Goddess of Life, the only being who can defeat Death, and escapes to warn the Pack and the Wind Riders with the knowledge she has accumulated during her harrowing journey. But will it be enough? Is there any way to truly stop the God of Death?

Too agreeable and no battle
The story deserved so much better.

I have loved the setting and premise of the series from the beginning, but the ending made it all fall flat. They started with real danger and loss and conflict to lead up to the main conflict being nothing. Death is just immediately grabbed by life and that is that and death didn’t even try to kill or battle. Isn’t that what death is all about… death?? No one even dies. If you want a story where nothing goes wrong and everything is fine then sure but where is the story in that. Im so disappointed. No conflict for having death at their heels and bringing him there, no conflict of watching Mari die, no conflict of death and life. Boring and disappointing.
Then we get it men are bad and women are good. That view helps no one and is boring.
Also for Mari to be the main character she gets like no time. Most of it is spent with river who we only met last book. It was supposed to be Maris story after all and she was “ chosen by the goddess “ but we don’t even get her pov barely at all. Unless it’s almost pointless to the main plot. Then lastly just stop with the constant overly lovey-dovey speech between the people and their companions no body talks like that.
