Fate strikes again!
Diesel and Emberly make a very sweet couple. I appreciate that Emberly, even though human, still felt drawn to Diesel. As a shifter, of course, he recognizes his heart-mate immediately. Thankfully, Emberly doesn’t see his childhood injury as any kind of deterrent.
It seems as if there are always some who won’t play by the rules, and some who aren’t worthy of friendship. All this makes for good entertainment in this delightful, quick read.
