Today’s dating scene is more complicated than ever, especially with social media, texting, and the endless pressure of the world’s expectations. How can men and women overcome the interior and exterior battles and discover the love they desire?
From “Hey” to “I do”—as well as the inevitable “gray areas” along the way—Emotional Virtue offers a compelling blueprint for how to navigate relationships and thrive in every stage of life—not just survive.
This book is very eye opening and not only is it good to apply to relationships with your significant other, but also god in some aspect. I learned a lot whether the scenarios obtained to me or not. In the long run I wish I bought the hard copy so I could let my friends read this book.
If you're going to read a book before, after, or during the dating process to help you along the way, this is the one. I would say it's probably best for readers aged 15 to 25, but honestly, the message in this book is timeless. Many dating books out there offer tips and tricks and all things superficial that really just make us overanalyze ourselves and our relationships. After reading this book, there's a certain peaceful self-confidence that I feel in knowing that I am ready to date, and I'm doing it for the right reasons. Your fears of putting yourself out there, getting hurt, or being forever alone will vanish the moment you finish this book. Highly, HIGHLY recommended.
