What a journey
This book was used by God to start me on a journey back towards him. It started a process that brought Gods’s loving insight into what was going on inside of me, the brokenness, the dysfunction, the inability to truly receive love and love well. I have such a long way to go but it’s no longer a hopeless journey. I came to yearn and love my office time. I am writing this with tears this morning as I didn’t realize this mornings office time was the last in the book. It’s almost as painful realizing it’s over as the heartbreak that miraculously brought the knowledge of this book to me. I don’t remember how I learned of this book. I was a wreck at the time. I have learned so much about God and me. So even though this is a sad morning in some ways I have new hope, knowledge and love of God moving forward. I think I may cycle through this again as I am sure there is something new to learn.
Great for rest
It’s really hard to get into a habit of resting in God’s love for me. This book helped me to do that better.
