ENG 12:The Experience

In this project we will explore how, through the use of communication via technology, we can effectively communicate an experience. We will use different types of technology to communicate with the goal of coming to a better understanding of our shared cultural connections and experiences.


The Experience is a Project Based Learning Unit aligned to the Common Core State Standards. In this unit, you will:

Practice researching multiple sources in order to find the most accurate information
Examine how language is used to add beauty to writing
Use multimedia to enhance stories and writing in new and exciting ways
Write stories based on your own experiences



W-A-Y, Widening Advancements for Youth, is a non-profit organization based in Michigan, United States. In addition to creating Project Based Learning units, W-A-Y offers a personalized learning experience for students who struggle with traditional high school.
