Desperate to find a spare moment together, Jenn and Cletus’s attempts to reconnect are thwarted by one seemingly coincidental disaster after another. It’s not long before Cletus and Jenn see a pattern emerge and the truth becomes clear.
Sabotage!
Will an undercover mission unmask the culprit? Or are these love-birds totally plucked?

Engagement and Espionage
Yet another 5 stars for Penny Reid and the Winston brothers!! I laughed and swooned late into the night because I couldn’t put it down.
Smart, witty mystery
Laugh out loud funny amongst a mystery. The lovers from Beard Science are trying to find time to be together while trying to figure out who beheaded chickens, set fire to bee boxes and tried to kill the heroine’s mom. Although a stand alone book it would be best to read Beard Science or the entire Winston Brothers series before starting this book.
First time reading Penny Reid? You won’t regret it
If you are trading reviews for this book, means that you’ve never read a book from Penny, don’t worry, You won’t regret it.
As always she delivers.... I love all her books, all the characters, I fell in love always with her heroes. And with this book, she give us a twist in the history.... mystery, which is very refreshing in a romance book..
Don’t know why I love when the characters are in a little bit of danger.
On the downside, when reading a new book, I end up with a bittersweet taste... I want to finish it, but once I do I’m sad because I won’t be reading it anymore... till next book in this series... can’t wait!!!
