It’s a Part 1
The set up is different and has potential that is unfortunately never realized. It’s just endless, repetitive degradation and the plot is nonexistent. I’m ok with dark romance, but this seems like a novel’s worth of prologue without any sort of forward movement. It’s internal monologue, degradation, sex, on repeat.
Very Disappointed…
This is the first book that I wish I stopped halfway at. I can tell the author put a lot of effort into it, but it’s just repeating the same thing over and over in so many different ways. The subject was ok, but I felt like the book was trying to rub in the fact that the girl Desiree has no control or rights as a woman whatsoever. Read at your own risk…
