Ernest Sylvester v. Northwestern Hospital

Action in the district court for Hennepin county to recover for injuries sustained by plaintiff, a patient in defendant hospital, for the hospitals alleged negligence in failing to protect him from an assault committed upon him by an intoxicated patient. The case was tried before Rolf Fosseen, Judge, and a jury. At the close of plaintiffs case, the court granted defendants motion for a directed verdict in its favor, and plaintiff appealed from an order denying his motion for a new trial.
