I hated to see it end. I truly enjoyed reading page after page as I began my morning. Joel sees the glass half full and has helped me continue to see life this way.
Joel Osteen New book rocks!
I get amazed about how many people out there envy Pastor Joel Osteen. They just wish they were used by God as much as he is. His new book is a great one full of hope and positivism. If any review of Joel book is below 4 stars just be aware of people who work for God's competitor. They represent the evil. Shame on them pharisees!
Wrong Motives for following Christ
We follow God because HE IS THE ONE WHO DESERVES TO BE WORSHIPPED. He is our motivation, not happiness in this lifetime. Yes, He gives us peace, joy, happiness as gifts but many people who followed Him well in the Bible had true grief, sadness, anguish (Our perfect Christ, himself) That is part of living in this world. We should have times of being grieved that others don't know Him and that the world is broken. We should have times of joy that He is our King and that He lets us live another day. But our emotions (happy or sad) are not the reason we love Him. We love Him because He first loves us.
