Publisher Description

Martha Wells returns to her Hugo, Nebula, Alex, and Locus Award-winning, New York Times and USA Today bestselling series, The Murderbot Diaries, in Exit Strategy.

Murderbot wasn’t programmed to care. So, its decision to help the only human who ever showed it respect must be a system glitch, right?

Having traveled the width of the galaxy to unearth details of its own murderous transgressions, as well as those of the GrayCris Corporation, Murderbot is heading home to help Dr. Mensah—its former owner (protector? friend?)—submit evidence that could prevent GrayCris from destroying more colonists in its never-ending quest for profit.

But who’s going to believe a SecUnit gone rogue?

And what will become of it when it’s caught?

"I love Murderbot!" —Ann Leckie

A Phenomenal Respite from Normal Sci-Fi

This series is a good getaway from some of the more dense sci-fi reading you may be accustomed to. It’s lighthearted and amusing, keeps you entertained, and is short enough and easy enough of a read that you can pick it up and put it down with ease. Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing lighthearted read that will regularly make you smile and illicit occasional true out loud laughter at Murderbot’s interactions, antics, and inner dialogue.

Cyberpunk Transhumanism close to its best

I’ve been a fan of cyberpunk literature since high school. A fan of transhumanist lit since college.

This series was amazing, and awesome, and had the right cynical tone combined with the inability to stop caring that any good cyberpunk has.

It’s a great series, and I absolutely loved it.
