Fascinating!
As a special ed teacher of grades five and six, I work with smaller classes and my students were absorbed in this book. The video or the astronaut in space generated so many questions that we ended up doing a whole unit of study on the history of space exploration. I have to admit I was grossed out when she brushed her teeth, but the kids loved it. They also loved the buttons for further exploration.
Blastoff with Petros's rocking review!
This is not just another science book about space with facts jotted down. It has a very interesting video that hooks you in right away in the beginning, and great pictures that go along with the text that keep you hooked until the very end. Fascinating, exciting, and hard to find another book on the subject that compares!
