Publisher Description
Confirmed bachelor Max Sterling isn't into rescuing damsels in distress, but when the very tempting Hailey Ellison needs his help, there's only one thing for him to do. Step in and pose as her loving fiancé. Except there is nothing fake about his attraction to her, or how much he wants her beneath him in his bed, moaning his name. But what starts as a sexy, flirty, temporary engagement, quickly becomes something more serious than either one ever anticipated.

Faking it
Fun story with believable characters. We all know the (insert your own dirty word here) person that we would love to push in front of a bus-Alison. We all have good friends also. Love that this is a stand alone book.
Faking it
I truly loved this book. I enjoyed how Max helped Hailey overcome her insecurities about herself and become a confident woman.
Cute sweet story but clunky writing
This really could have used some editing. Some glaring examples from the first few chapters:
“‘Are you okay?’ he asked, wanting to make certain that she was fine.”
“He’d been attracted to Hailey from the first day they’d met, and the more he learned about her, the more his interest increased, not diminished as it normally did with the women he’d dated in the past—or with the women his mother set him up with.”
But overall a cute sweet story.
