Waiting for the show to drop
The twists keep you wondering who is innocent and who is not. Gets a little long winded but an excellent book.
Fatal Distraction. Diane Capri
A relentless victims rights advocate and investigating journalist Jess Kimball is still looking for her son taken from here when he was a small child. Florida’s governor Helen Sullivan is still grieving the death of her son in a car accident that he didn’t cause as others were lead to believe. Then her husband Oliver is shot at a funeral they were both attending. In the periphery of all these incidents is a grief counselor Dr. Ben Fleming. He is actually a serial killer, his first victims were his parents. This excellent read is full of twist’s and turns on every page!! Enjoyed immensely!!
Villain revealed too early
I was about 1/3 into the book when the ID of the protagonist was revealed. By half way, the ending was assured. It was an entertaining story and the manner for the ending was not as expected. A good mystery has several plot lines proceeding in parallel which don't come together until the final 1/4 of the book. This book lacked that challenge.
