Fantastic!
I am always in heaven when I read a Misty Evans book and her latest, Fatal Love took me even higher because there was a new baby that joined the Shadow Force International team! In Fatal Love we follow the birth of Callan and Beatrice’s baby, featuring Connor and Sabrina (some new SFI people) as well as a few appearances from characters from the other stories.
If you have read the other books in the series, you know that things don’t always go according to plan. And the birth of Cal and B’s baby is not different. Instead of just the adventure of a home birth where Maria (midwife) and Trace (another SFI member) help out Cal and B, they have to fend off a revenge-hungry terrorist with some cronies. Thankfully, this is a novella, so once you start the book and get sucked in, you have time to finish because you really won’t want to leave the characters for even a few minutes.
Speaking of the fantastic characters in the story, what I love so much about Callan and Beatrice is that Cal can tell B what to do when no one else in can. She doesn’t always listen to Cal, but she knows when he means business. The back and forth between the two of them is hilarious and so entertaining. Trace (hero from Fatal Truth) also played a big role in the story along with newcomers Connor and Sabrina.
It’s hard to describe too much more of Fatal Love without giving it all away, but if you read Evans’ SFI series then you will want to read this one. You will get the same smooth and easy writing, smart dialogue, edge of your seat action and a happy ever after that will leave a big smile on your face.

Very upset! When I bought the book it stated it was 300 pages, when it fact it was only 43. Very deceiving!!!
