Needed by All Men
This book masterfully, but simply walks you through the stages of masculinity. I think every man, young and old, and moms of boys, should read it and find himself, the men in your life, in each stage. Where have you underdeveloped and why? I felt God counseling me as a man through each page and I found myself more understood than ever before. I am not the only man who deals with certain things, but one of many men. John does such a great job walking you through all of it and I am better for reading the message of this book.

Once, twice - get it, just get it
I got this book two years ago, started to read and then lost interest due to, oh well whatever you want to call it. I picked it up again after started Every Man a Warrior discipleship and found out that God was actually showing me this concept of fathering. Oh my, I have learned a lot and want to keep developing this concept in real life, meaning I want to live it, experience it and embrace it. John made a great impact in my life through this book, God put him as a sage to this king.
