Field’s Guide to Dirty Money
Take one Bridezilla mom, mix with a hired assassin looking to turn you over to a drug lord who wants you dead, an arrogant sure-you’re-a-bubblehead ally, add Thor and a highly protective chihuahua. Mix well and you have an amazingly entertaining episode of the continuing saga of Poppy Fields, secret agent. Set in the Grand Caymans where Poppy’s mother is about to marry, the story is fast moving, excitement filled and highly satisfying. Julie Mulhern has a highly skilled manner of continuously developing her characters in a believable manner. Poppy and company are real people, people you can care about, cheer for and laugh with or (at times) laugh AT. In this time of isolating at home, traveling to Mexico, New Orleans, Paris, Egypt or Grand Cayman is a treat! And good winning out over evil is always reassuring, even when it is just todays battle and not the war. I wholeheartedly encourage you to read this book, this series, and look into Mulhern’s Country Club series as well. Strong women looking to make a difference always make a good read! 5 stars and a bullet!!
