Nice Cowboy romance
This is the second book in The Murphy’s of Meadow Valley series. Eli Murphy is the area vet and widower. Three years ago, his wife died while trying to save their horse Fury from thieves. Three years later, he is just existing, and hasn’t really been able to move past his grief. Beth Spence is a dancer who has alway dreamed of becoming a Rockette. When she auditioned for an opening, she tore her Achilles tendon, which may end her dancing career. Her sister tell her to come to Meadow Valley to recuperate. What she hasn’t told her is that she volunteered her to work as Eli’s assistant, and to live in his guest house. Both Beth and Eli must work past their grief, and by doing so, they find each other. This is a nice cowboy romance with likable characters and not too much angst. I received an arc of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.
