Finding Allie
I happened upon this author while looking at suggested authors from a friend. So very glad I did! A story that starts out with Bob Seger's emotional and social rollercoaster of a song, "Turn the Page", should be enough to let you know what kind of a story this is going to be. Broken, beauty, yearning, and many more things. I HAVE to finish this series.
Amazing Read!
Finding Allie is an amazingly beautiful and beautiful story. I love Meli Raine. Her stories always leave me eagerly anticipating more.
Allie and Chase are on opposite sides of a very dangerous war. They aren't supposed to want one another but, they do. Will they be able to survive long enough to escape the war and be together?
You just have to read it and find out.
Love at First Sight!
Finding Allie is a great beginning to this series. Allie is fighting for her life and her freedom from her obsessive stepfather. After meeting Chase during a bar fight, he becomes her knight in shining armor! I can't wait to read the next book where Allie finds herself fighting to get away from a scary drug cartel wanting to sell her body for profit. All thanks to her stepfather's promise to trade her virginity for payment. You gotta check it out to grasp her raw desperation in finding the truth to it all.
