Publisher Description

A good read
I thoroughly enjoyed the novel. There are some fantastic characters in this story that deserve more books devoted to them. The imperial guard regiment is a welcome addition with a nod to the old south.
If you are expecting a novel devoted solely to the Tau you might be slightly disappointed. My only complaint is the ending came too soon.
A reference to my taste... Gaunt's Ghosts and anything Abnett or ADB
