Amazing
Alright, originally I had 5 paragraphs typed. I’m not willing to do that again (darn phone) so, summarizing that.
I recommend it. It’s lighthearted and clearly Anthony. This novel both references it’s predecessors and builds a foundation for its descendants. In and of itself this novel has nothing to do with the plot of Xanth, it just introduces a few characters while tying up a few loose ends here and there.
I personally recommend going to the library if you aren’t certain you want to buy it. It is definitely reread able, but it is also very predictable and some of you may not like it. (If you know Xanth then you will know the ending by the second chapter) but the way they get to it is marvelous and goes to many unseen areas
Give it a read, it’s worth the 4-8 hours
