Fireflies

Past and present collided for Evelyn when she had to fly to Berlin after her mother fell down the stairs and was hospitalized with possible brain injuries. Upon arriving in Frankfurt, unexpected events set her on a reluctant journey into the past. Soon she finds herself in the midst of a murder case, confronted with her grandfather's WWII secret, possible hidden treasures at her family's estate, and her father's hidden truths from the Cold War era in communist East Germany. With little choice but to follow the trail of clues, Evelyn must uncover the truth. With the support of friends and family, she must go wherever it leads and take whatever steps are necessary to ensure their present safety and rectify the lies of the past.
