Ty& Kat
Tyson is a hero we all need in our lives.....caring, loving, considerate.....and oh so patient! Kay is a young woman who grew up rather quickly with no emotional support and it shows. She grows a lot in this book and by the end you just gotta love the love!
Engaging but immature language
This book kept me hooked 95% of the time. I loved the storyline and how Kat finally came into her own. I didn’t like the immature use of language for body parts and sexual experiences. Using the term sex instead of vagina or slit instead of vagina/vaginal canal just seemed very immature for this book. Especially as erotic as it was. There were a few sex scenes that could’ve been left out as well. It felt like at times she was trying too hard to fill the space and it wasn’t necessary to the storyline at all. But I’m intrigued enough with the characters to probably continue with the series.
First love!!
With all of Lydia Micheal’s book you get a love story that deals with real life issues and they are by far the best love stories. Katherine is a single mother of sweet Mia,who she had at seventeen. Tyson is her neighbor who just bought his house to renovate. There’s instant a attraction,a fast friendship that leads to love plus learning how to lean on someone who cares when you’ve been on your own for so long. Wonderful story with strong and beautiful characters
