Made me cry
This book was so sweet and wonderful. It talked about the horrible and confusing web of domestic abuse as well as hope for the future and life. Police officers risk their lives every day to help people, as do other folks in our communities.
A book has never touched me so deeply. I felt her pain.
Great First Novel
I've read books that I can't put down, that grab you in the first few pages and draw you into the characters lives. This book does all that and leaves a lasting emotional impact. Great character development with a storyline that goes deeper than a typical romance. The story is well developed and current. Definitely a good read.
