Publisher Description
When the county medical examiner vanishes from the Florida Keys, a search of his home leads to Bodhi King. It’s been years since Bodhi’s heard from Joel Ashland, but he agrees to help the authorities look for the missing man—partly out of duty and partly out of curiosity.
Bodhi's hunt propels him to Florida's sun-soaked Forgotten Coast, where he comes across the lifeless body of the missing medical examiner. His next discovery is equally chilling. Joel’d been investigating a potential death cluster. Was Joel killed to cover up the truth? And will Bodhi’s relentless quest for answers lead him to the same fate?
Principled, unwavering forensic pathologist Bodhi King returns in Forgotten Path, the eighth book in the series by USA Today bestselling author Melissa F. Miller.

Your new favorite
I am always anxiously awaiting a new Melissa F. Miller novel and Bodhi King is one of my favorites. I love his character and always learn something from his stories and him. Interestingly enough, I find this Melissa Miller series one that leaves me feeling peaceful and reminded of all the good in the world when I finish the book. Forgotten Path exceeds all my already high expectations. The mystery around Joel Ashland’s disappearance launches Bodhi on a page turning hunt for the why and who. I finished this in one day - it was just so incredibly hard to put down! I love the unlikely heroes in the story and felt myself tear up with happiness and admiration at the strength and sense of community of the characters. Once again, I was transported right along with Bodhi as he sought answers. Miller has a special talent for making the reader feel like they are right in the story, the only problem is, she always leaves me wanting more.
