Ivan and Chey face off…
This is the second book in the L.A. Phantoms series, and it is a whirlwind ride as Ivan and Cheyenne, aka Chey, find their way to love. Cheyenne is a supermodel and has been living her life according to specific goals that she wants to fulfill because she knows that her years as a top model will end at some point. Ivan is the hot hockey player that is attracted to Chey but she has put him in the friend zone. However, the more time they spend together their feelings become stronger. Will they let nature take its course or will they go their separate ways? I love the way Ms. Mizera gets down to basics showing Chey’s vulnerabilities and standing up for herself when needed. She is fiercely independent made stronger by her line of work. Ivan is a solid man who wants to help others and protects those he loves. However, he has had a failed relationship which has him questioning whether or not Chey will ever move him out of the friend zone. Watching Ivan and Chey’s love story play out on the pages is like having an ice cream Sunday that melts in your mouth and gives you those good feeling and puts a smile on your face. It is rich and creamy, and you just want more of it. Adding to the plot is the inclusion of the other characters from prior books which heightens the banter and all-around good time. I recommend this book.
