Great story
Friendly Fire picks up where The Rescue left off with Captain Tim Daniels recovering in the hospital after being shot during an ambush against the firemen when they responded to a call. Tim and his wife Ava have been growing distant and not communicating well in recent months. Both previously had emotional affairs. Tim’s injury and Ava’s planned return to work have brought their former friends back into their lives. Courtney wants a relationship with Tim and Paul wants one with Ava. Tim and Ava seek counseling to get their marriage back on track and overcome obstacles from Paul and Courtney. Great story!!

Captain Tim Daniels and his wife Ava have been married for a long time but his job has put pressures on the home life. At one time they were both attracted to others but when Tim gets shot it brings their issues to a crossing point…
Can these two with some counseling find their way back to love, figure out who shot him, who’s targeting the Brothers of Fire and protect his family from harm…only time will tell..

Tim is a captain and well thought of at the station. Home life and the caring of their two daughters he has left to his wife. Things come to be questioned when he is shot. Can the love become stronger to change their pattern of what is needed to save a marriage . Excellent series that readers will enjoy.
