The More Things Change…
The more they stay the same. Having finished this series I had to come back to write a review. With just a few details changed, you really wouldn’t know what era these books are set. Characters and plot are well developed, each book leaving you wondering what happens next. Very entertaining with chuckles here and there. Love the historical events that are brought to light in these stories. I learned a lot.
A tantalizing mystery that has an unexpected climax.
The mystery is gripping and the setting in turn-of-the -century (1900) San Francisco is very interesting. Made me glad I was born later in that century.
