Capture with pain
Such a display when she isn’t doing what she was told. Up against these two foul souls who care for themselves. Tolerate until she has no more strength to fight her captain. I received a free copy of this book via booksprout
Angst and Deception
Hellbent on bringing the Empire to its knees, Mila finds herself battling everyone around her, including herself. She is a wildcat through and through - reacting and destroying with quickness and brutality, but even that isn't enough to quench the fires of vengeance. Unable to weaponize the monster from within, Mila is slowly recognizing that she must rely on her monster and enemy, Captain Asher Rawlings, but she will do so on her own terms.

Fire and fury!!
I know we are supposed to hate Captain Asher Rawlings but I just love him so much.. yes I know he chained Mila to him just to use her power against the rebels but there just something powerful about him...and I think the next book we are gonna see what more he can do ”One who’d been held in check too long by duty to his supervisors, starved for the hunt while pretending to be the perfect, obedient soldier.” And I do love Mila cause she not just giving up she still fighting and planning but right now she know her only chance to survive is with the captain… I love how feisty she is and there time together I just wish these two had a lot more alone time “wink”… I ready for the next one like right now please!!!
