Well, it was a nice, feel-good sci. fi. book.
I enjoyed the book. It was a minor, constant effort to read through the seemingly novice handling of conversations. Most spoken interactions, while grammatically correct, were written stiffly, almost robotic. Proper punctuation would have helped many confusing sentences. Also I prefer using "z" in words like "recognize", "jail" instead of "gaol". All that said, I enjoyed the story, plot, settings, and characters. I call it "feel-good" because of the cheery ending after a small band of people pulling off the impossible because of seemingly endless good luck.
