Ghetto Champagne

Ghetto Champagne transcends the boundaries of beverage into a concoction of the mind. In such a case it retains an amalgam of thought, both minacious and scintillating, producing a hieroglyphic ambience. Capacious thematic breadth is hallmark to the assembly, featuring references illicit, whilst suggesting extensions of The Bible. Fundamentally, it constitutes a compilation of poems erected during summer 2019. I can only attribute the completion of such works to the afflatus, which is God. In a most tactful manner He’s managed to subject me to experiences occupying the role of momentum towards the following works. Furthermore, I sought to integrate an aspect of Black culture with seeming irony, hence the appellation “Ghetto”. The descriptor is everything less of accurate, given the term’s conventional semantics, nonetheless it interestingly comprises a staple of the aforementioned. The eclectic complexion of Ghetto Champagne is designed to affect peoples of varying frameworks. My hope is that if one harbors aversion to a single work they may find beauty in another of the same whole. Enjoy and Godspeed.
