The spirit of Heath's deceased grandfather, introduced to M.J. by the spirit of her late mother, fears an ancient evil spirit is determined to kill all the Whitefeathers. The difficult personal politics of the Zanto Pueblo add complexity to the plot, while the antics of M.J.'s hypochondriac gay best friend, Ghoul Getters producer Gillie Gillespie, and her parrot, Doc, provide comic relief. While the romance between M.J. and Heath never catches fire, series fans will enjoy the straightforward storytelling and gentle humor.

Love this series! I read this book in one day. Finished the series in a few days. Looking forward to the new book in jan 2013. And I found a new favorite author.
