The Young Pioneers Adventure series for kids, by Joann Klusmeyer, is a five-volume anthology of wholesome, faith-friendly adventure and mystery-oriented historical fiction for kids. The stories are set primarily in the midwestern United States around 1900 as America’s settlers expanded westward into the territories. 

Each volume contains two captivating stories, and the series features a mix of boy and girl protagonists around the age of 10. Times were exciting in those days, and mystery and adventure seemed to know every young pioneer by name.

Ms. Joann Klusmeyer is the daughter of pioneer missionary parents. She grew up in rural Arkansas and learned and served in the little country church her father built and then pastored. Ms. Klusmeyer is a prolific author with over 50 titles to her credit (and counting).
