Go Away From Me

A struggling writer finds himself trapped in a spiral of depression and intrusive, dangerous thoughts. Cut off from his children and recovering from another breakup after a divorce, he drifts through life looking like a zombie until one strange encounter changes everything.
One night in the woods, he witnesses a mysterious woman dragging a coffin through the darkness. The woman is a vampire, beautiful but deadly, with ties to a hidden world beneath the Earth's surface. She takes him captive, feeding on him and pulling him into her orbit before abruptly releasing him back into his ordinary life. But the encounter leaves a mark—one he can't ignore, and he even wonders if everything was a dream.
Months later, unsure if the vampire is real or not, he seeks her out again. This time, the truth begins to unfold: her disappearances, her origins, and the reason she chose him. What she wants is far greater—and far more dangerous—than blood.
