Guangdong Sights

Guangdong Province (Yue for short) is located in the southmost China, facing the South China Sea to the south. With the north side higher than the south, Guangzhou has mountains, plains and hills mixed within its area. Located in the subtropics it enjoys long summer, warm winter, ample rain and mild climate. The history, culture, natural scenery and human landscape of Guangdong Province have distinguishing features of Lingnan and it is an ideal tourist destination throughout the year; all these make it one of the best province for tourist of China. In Guangdong there are six national historical and cultural cities, such as Guangzhou, Foshan, Chaozhou, and three state key scenic areas, namely the Star Lake of Zhaoqing, Xijiao Mountain of Nanhai and the Danxia Mountain of Shaoguan, all beautiful and charming. Besides, Guangdong has four famous mountains (the Danxia Mountain, Xijiao Mountain, Luofo Mountain and the Dinghu Mountain) and four famous temples.
