Romantic/Suspense
This book was a fun little quick read full of love and mystery with a little action
Not so great
The first two chapters when it got a little suspenseful with her car being blown up to scare her that had Gavin to jump into action so to speak to protect and find out who’s offing her former colleagues?!? I was almost done reading it but the heroine was just plain annoying and whiny that I didn’t bother to continue reading it all the way through. I just got irritated that I purposefully removed the download even though it’s almost to the end?!? For an marriage psychologist or whatever her field is, she described as an clueless and doesn’t exactly have any kind of backbone whatsoever when it comes to her personal life. The grumpy and silent bodyguard, Gavin who chose to protect her from the mob was okay. I thought their sudden coupling despite of intense circumstances while hiding out seem rather rushed. Unfortunately, I just found it out why it’s $2.99 on here. It wasn’t that great. Regrettably I can’t return it so all I could do was to remove the download to store it on the cloud and never reconsider to finish reading it. It’s just too slow and really boring.
