Joy seems to live the perfect life, or at least that’s what it looks like on the outside. Her real life consists of her absentee parents, who care more about the image of their family than the family itself, and her friends, who care more about the popular girl they want her to be.

Rebelling against this life takes her further away from the life she has always known, as well as her family and friends, but it also brings her closer to friendships, acceptance and love.

Happy Unhappy Ending is the tale of two worlds clashing together in a dangerous encounter that threatens to destroy everything in its wake, as they risk friendships, family, love, and even their lives.
