Customer Reviews
Overall helpful but some things weren’t necessary
Overall I enjoyed the book and it was helpful. I really appreciated the raw and realness throughout. It was relatable and authentic.
The only downside was the chapter about god/a higher power. It seemed…strange. It was not helpful, it was redundant (the author kept talking in circles) and there was no real helpful explanation for why he’d allow a death to happen. It was super surface level, redundant and honestly… it was sort of angering. I ended up skimming that chapter and wishing it was removed from the book.
Again, a great book as a whole but that chapter really really threw me off and wasn’t helpful at all.
