Harm

I’m not sure Piper Davenport could write a book I wouldn’t like.

I found myself smiling while reading the banter between Bryn and Harm. This can be read as a stand-alone, but there are a few characters who appear from the authors other books. I would highly recommend the whole Dogs of Fire series. This is a short read, but I really enjoyed it.

I freaking love a younger man/older woman story. The possibilities in such a story are endless. Piper Davenport wrote a story that had me cheering on the relationship. Piper Davenport wrote a story that had me smiling, laughing and swooning on more than one occasion. Harm is a classy, not trashy, story dealing age differences that some don't understand.

Harm is a member of the Dogs of Fire MC. He is on protective duty for Maisie, the president's wife. I do love a protective male character. Harm oozes "you are safe with me". He made me swoon over his actions, excited to see what he would do next. Harm maybe protective, but he is so much more.

Meeting Bryn brings out his sense of humor, his intelligence and quick thinking. Harm is just what Bryn needs to discover she has value after being trashed by her ex-husband. As a single mom of adult boys, she is cautious and doubting. None of that matters to Harm. He has latched on to her and won't let go.

Bryn and Harm's love story is believable. Bryn and Harm's story is inspiring. Bryn and Harm's story is hot. The sex steamed up the pages and my glasses. Thanks to Bryn and Harm's story, I got to visit with some of my favorite characters from previous books. Best of all the ending had me giddy with happiness.
