Charles Kingsley was an English priest, historian and novelist, famous mostly for his works Hypatia, Hereward the Wake and Westward Ho! Due to his interest in history, Kingsley wrote several historical novels, but achieved a great success after publishing his works Hereward the Wake and Westward Ho! 

First published in 1874, Charles Kingsley's Health and Education is an excellent work, comprising the author's thoughts on topics concerning health and education. Although written more than a hundred years ago, the book is still full of fresh and valuable ideas applicable in modern day life.
