Abandoned at 15, Camellia Darjeeling values her independence above all—even as her father and uncle emotionally scourge her and extort money. For Camellia, trusting men, even her HeartMate, is too risky.
When Laev and Camellia meet, they refuse to acknowledge that they are true HeartMates. But their destiny cannot be avoided. . . .
Robin Owens Does it again
Another great book in her Heart series. I enjoy this series because the heroes and heroines are always different and unique. They are poignant and identifiable characters with diverse backgrounds. Each book is a unique gem. I particularly appreciate the variety she imbues in each of her characters and stories. I just wish there were more of them!
