Hidden Peril Hidden Peril

Publisher Description

As teenagers, Kristin Dane and her two best friends took a vow to make the world a better place. Twenty years later, she's fulfilling that pledge through her fair trade shop that features products from around the world. All is well until, one by one, people connected to the shop begin dying.

Detective Luke Carter, new to the St. Louis PD, wants to know why. Before he can answer that question, however, the FBI weighs in and Kristin suddenly finds herself in the middle of international intrigue--and in the sights of the ruthless mastermind behind an ingenious and deadly, scheme. Can this cold-blooded killer be stopped before more people die . . . including Kristin?

Three-time RITA Award-winner and "queen of inspirational romantic suspense" (Library Journal) Irene Hannon doesn't disappoint in this edge-of-your-seat thriller that will have readers up late as they rush toward the explosive conclusion.

INTENSE!

Hidden Peril (Code of Honor #2) is a perfect example of why Irene Hannon is an award winning author in the romantic suspense category. From the start, Hidden Peril will grab your attention and keep it to the last page. Hannon’s plot is on point and very believable. It could happen anytime in real life. Her background research is obvious as the many details of certain things are described. (I would explain more but I don’t want to include spoilers.) Her characters are realistic, believable and you would want them to be your friends. The villains are as evil as they come. An example of that is when main character Kristin Dane had this thought, “Until she found herself looking into the face of hell.” Her addition of romance is added at the right time and always done in a tasteful manner. I was provided an ARC of this book by the Publisher and NetGalley. The opinions expressed here are completely my own and without influence. I have preordered a copy of this book for my own personal library.

HIDDEN PERIL

Hidden Peril. by Irene Hannon
A light at the end of the hallway, drew the monk to turn it off. Khalil a refuge was toiling over the desk, saying he wanted to finish a task. Hearing a whiny noise, something didn’t seem right, so he offered to help. A workbench revealed, that a terrible mistake has been made. An evil deception had defiled this holy place.
Kristen got notice, of the death, through buying products from them for her WorldCraft business.. Had met Brother Michael, was an amazing experiment.
She now had a wedding to attend to. Luke also had to attend, Colin was a new associate, as detectives. Quick in and out, after three years, he still wasn’t in a party mood. Meeting Kristen was nice, but seems she is taken.
To meet her again when a co worker had been murdered, in her shop. The shop items and signs, showed him she was in deed helping others around the world. Another woman murder, she had just boughten items from the shop.
Was there a connection to these three deaths, items bought in that shouldn’t have. An easy flowing plot, with characters we have known. It has twists and turns, as we try to figure out what was happening. Her books are always rich with intrigue, and leave you wanting more. Given ARC. by Net Galley and Revell for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

Hidden Peril

Hi,
I enjoyed the storyline ok although it was fairly easy to figure out that Ryan’s character was going to morph into Amir.
But my biggest complaint is I feel like I’m reading an off the shelf romance novel! When did that happen with Christian novels?
