Holly Jolly Vampire

Darci's old pal River was forever changed in a terrifying vampire attack. She has not seen him since he was whisked away to a vampire clan. Her life revolved around painful therapy and a lonely existence. She has missed her asthmatic nerdy friend, one she thought might be more than a friend.

 But now she has a new job on a task force of human and Others, to work together to keep both communities safe. River joins the task force, a healthy, strong, vampire River.

They meet on Christmas Eve at the Encanto Bay Cafe, and decide to go somewhere quieter and talk. Then they hear the wail of a tiny baby. The baby is not human. The two join together to search for help for the tiny baby.
