Sexy, successful, and shameless.
Three Hollywood hotshots who share a decades-long friendship based on competition, ambition, and accumulating power at any cost may soon find themselves enveloped in the heat of a burning revenge in this sexy, steamy Collins classic!
Jack Python may be the hottest talk show host in LA, but his road to fame was anything but easy. Abandoned as a boy by his mother who took off with his starlet sister to launch her career as Broadway darling Silver Anderson, Jack struggles with his fair share of demons that no money, charisma, or power can ever truly silence. His fame means he can have any woman he wants, including Oscar-winning actress Clarissa Browning, one of the hottest tickets in Hollywood.
But when his aging soap opera star sister comes back into his life, along with her lover, who may be involved in a potentially lethal scheme, it may be more than Jack can handle.
Meanwhile, movie star Mannon Cable is internationally adored for his good looks, killer bod, and self-depreciating charm, but few know how desperately he still pines after his ex-wife, Hollywood A-lister Whitney Valentine. Mannon never wanted Whitney on the screen, but studio mogul and third pal Howard Solomon had other plans for Whitney’s career—as well as his own designs on winning Whitney for himself. Enter supermodel Jade Johnson, strong independent, and dangerously beautiful. Jade’s in town to make a series of million-dollar TV commercials, but Hollywood fails to impress this jaded New Yorker. . . That is, until she encounters this trio of highly competitive friends in this exciting, fast-paced read you won’t want to put down!
Hollywood Wives, with its ten-million copy sales, and its spectacular success as a television miniseries, left Jackie Collins’ devoted audience hungry for the other side of the story. Hollywood Husbands delivers the goods!
"Collins shifts into high, glitzy gear with this follow-up to Hollywood Wives --it's the good-naturedly smarmy story of the sexy, sleazy doings of Tinsel-town's finest." - Kirkus Reviews
"Collins's devotees will probably relish the snappy dialogue, whirlwind pacing, irreverent humor and opulent locales that are her trademarks." -- Publishers Weekly

PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
As in Hollywood Wives, Collins (Lucky colorfully depicts the brash hedonists of Tinseltown, most of whom are motivated by avarice, lust and conceit. The central trio in this lengthy saga consists of movie star Mannon Cable, studio executive Howard Soloman and TV talk-show host Jack Python. Although Mannon has married compliant young Melanie-Shanna, he vows to win back his ex-wife, Whitney. Cocaine addict Howard pursues Whitney though he is wed to a gossipy society gadabout. Jack courts an illustrious actress, but he becomes infatuated with Jade Johnson, a willowy, self-possessed model. Jack's sister, imperious soap-opera star Silver Anderson, doesn't know that her lover is desperately trying to extricate himself from a potentially lethal business deal. While these escapades unfold, we must guess which female was a sexually abused arsonist in the 1970s. Collins's devotees will probably relish the snappy dialogue, whirlwind pacing, irreverent humor and opulent locales that are her trademarks. Others will find, however, that this book's cliched characters and repetitive plot soon grow tiresome. Major ad/promo; paperback rights to Pocket Books; author tour.
