Publisher Description
Home is where your hockey player is…
Allison Monroe doesn't have time for love. Between work, school, and caring for her elderly grandmother, her life is already full—even if her dreams of a fairytale romance are quietly tucked away.
That is, until her best friend drags her to a hockey game…and Ally quite literally crashes into Benjamin Price—star player for the Red Valley Ravens.
Ben lives in a world Ally has only ever watched from the sidelines—fast, exciting, and full of possibility. With his easy charm and boyish grin, he sweeps her into something she never expected…and can't seem to resist.
But when Ben's contract expires and he's offered a career-changing opportunity 1,300 miles away, reality hits hard.
Because falling for a hockey player is one thing—
learning how to hold on when life pulls you in opposite directions is another.
As Ally navigates love, sacrifice, and the meaning of home, she'll have to decide if some risks are worth everything.
*Although part of a series, Home Ice can be read as a stand-alone, as can all the books in the Red Valley Ravens series.*
Customer Reviews
No spark
I kept waiting for this story line to pick up but it never did. The pages were hard to get through with the average blah, blah, blah. This should come with a warning that there’s no spark.
Liked the story
Loved the characters and story line but this book has no reason to be in this series. If anything it should be the spin off book to a new team and a new series. Not sure if I want to read the next book. All the characters introduced in this book are off to new teams.
