“A masterpiece of thriller and mystery. Blake Pierce did a magnificent job developing characters with a psychological side so well described that we feel inside their minds, follow their fears and cheer for their success. Full of twists, this book will keep you awake until the turn of the last page.”

HOMECOMING (A Chloe Fine Mystery) is book #5 in a new psychological suspense series by bestselling author Blake Pierce, whose #1 bestseller Once Gone (Book #1) (a free download) has over 1,000 five-star reviews.
When two husbands, best friends, turn up dead in a wealthy suburban town, FBI VICAP Special Agent Chloe Fine, 27, is called in to unmask the lies in this small town and to find the killer.
Chloe will have to penetrate this town’s perfect façade, to get past its public appearances to understand the truth of who these men were, and who may have wanted them dead. And in a town that thrives on its exclusivity, that won’t be easy to do.
What secrets were these husbands hiding?
An emotionally wrought psychological suspense with layered characters, small-town ambiance and heart-pounding suspense, HOMECOMING is book #5 in a riveting new series that will leave you turning pages late into the night.
Book #6 in the Chloe Fine series is also now available!
The complexity continues!
The complexity continues! Every book we get in the Chloe Fine series gets more and more involved and deeper into the mystery of her childhood while also giving us a current mystery to solve and can’t get enough!! After the explosive ending of the previous book, where we find Chloe’s twin sister Danielle kidnapping their father, I was so excited to see where this book took them. While Danielle is busy interrogating and attempting to obtain the truth from their father, Chloe starts a new case but has trouble focusing and keeping her cool because of her missing family. As more murders happen, Chloe and her partner are stumped as to what the connection is, but through her own mystery of where her sister and father went, she is able to pull through and find the connection they need to solve the case. But it’s another story when Danielle finally reaches out to Chloe and tells her where they are and what she’s done, and the ending of this book we definitely don’t see coming! I am so interested to see where the next book takes us through the decisions that Chloe will make! Another great book that kept me on the edge of my seat from Blake!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This book was as good as all the others in the series but the side drama with the sister and father are a bit far fetched.
Finished series. Good characters. Good beginning but not a very good ending.
